Fall 2023 Classes – Schedule, Course Descriptions, Registration
This fall, Shared Learning presents 36 brand new courses for all adults. With a single $70/person annual membership, you can take as many courses as you like without any extra charge. (A few courses may require a purchase, such as a book.)
Courses run weekly (in varying lengths) from September 11th through December 15th. Some courses are on-site; others remote, via Zoom; and others by a combination.
The Fall 2023 catalog is now available on this page for viewing and downloading–complete course descriptions, the schedule of classes, and a 4-page registration form–or instead register for classes on-line with a credit card membership payment.
The deadline for registration is September 1st.
**** CATALOG UPDATES ****
These four courses have been cancelled: Arts & Crafts (Tues. 1:15); Revealing the Messages in the Gospels (Wed., 11:15); Chess, It’s Your Move (Wed., 1:15); and Banned/Challenged Books (Thurs., 9:15).
The following four courses are now WAIT LIST ONLY:
- “Short Story: The Art of the Tale on Monday at 1:00
- “TED Talks” on Tuesday at 1:15
- “Comparative Film Analysis on Thursday at 11:15
- “Art Meets Literature (Sept. 22, Oct. 20, Nov. 17, Dec. 15)
The course “Change: Past, Present and Future” has been rescheduled from Wed. 11:15 to Wed. 9:30-10:45. The correct time is on the latest version of the documents, but the course appears out-of-order among the other courses on the same day.
